Processing Web Transactions
GiftLogic allows you to manage eCommerce and retail store transactions within one system. Depending on the shopping cart used, online transactions can be either automatically or manually processed.
GiftLogic supports some of the most popular eCommerce solutions with plugins that make integration seamless and allow for automatic processing. But for GiftLogic users who work with shopping cart systems that aren’t currently supported, we do offer the means of entering the online sale and customer information, just as you would any other sale. You can also add shipping and any associated fees to the order, and select a check box that indicates the transaction was an internet sale during the transaction.
The check box simply allows you to include internet sales in inventory without disrupting your reports and reconciliations. The sale will be added to the daily register total but won’t be counted as a credit card transaction that need to be reconciled with freestanding credit card equipment or GiftLogic’s integrated credit card transaction processing.
Web transaction processing will cross-reference your customer’s email addresses on file and will add the new transaction to their account history if found. If integrated and the account is not found, GiftLogic will create a new customer account based on the web transaction information.
GiftLogic currently offers an integration for the following eCommerce solutions: 3dCart Pinnacle Cart, Fortune 3, Magento, and Big Commerce.
For the ability to manage online transactions, whether via an automatic integration with support platforms or manually, is included with GiftLogic for no additional charge.
